This session of Circus History Live! will feature Ramon Vazquez who will discuss the history of Circus Vazquez. Ramon is the Chief Financial Officer and a Director of Circus Vazquez USA and Fl!p Circus USA.
Ramon and his four brothers Guillermo, Jose, Jesus, and Aldo manage Circus Vazquez and their smaller unit: Fl!p Circus. Growing up in a multi-generation circus family, Ramon has over 28 years of experience as a circus producer. Before moving into a management role, he performed as an acrobat, flying trapeze artist, clown, ringmaster, and animal trainer.
Founded in Mexico in 1969 by Ramon’s father Jose and his uncle Rafael, Circo Hermanos Vazquez, now known as Circus Vazquez, has been entertaining audiences in Mexico, Central America, and the United States for more than 55 years. With winter quarters in Donna, Texas, Circus Vazquez and its cast and crew of over two hundred people and three million pounds of equipment, now tour the United States ten months a year on a caravan of more than fifty vehicles.
