This session of Circus History Live! featured Nicole and Rom Portwood who old stories of their golden years with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey, how they got there, and what they have been doing since.
Nicole Marsh Portwood is a clown college graduate who worked on Ringling productions at Disneyland, Circus World, and toured Japan with the Gold Unit before she was transferred to the Red Unit to be part of the Farewell Tour of Gunther Gebel-Williams in 1989-90. It was there that she met Rom Portwood, who was the first publicist ever hired to work exclusively with Gunther Gebel-Williams.
