The November 19 edition of Circus History Live! featured Big Apple Circus Chief Executive Officer Marty LaSalle. Mr. LaSalle discussed the unique collaboration of New York's Big Apple Circus with Germany's famous Circus Roncalli for its 2023 production at Lincoln Center. He also reviewed the fascinating history of the Big Apple Circus.
A former juggler and acrobat on the Big Apple Circus, Mr. LaSalle also served in various staff and management roles with the show. After leaving the Big Apple Circus in 2011, he held management positions with other companies in the entertainment industry. He returned to the Big Apple Circus as its Chief Executive Officer in 2022.
