The July 16 edition of Circus History Live! featured a conversation with circus legend Elvin Bale!
With circus roots tracing back over 350 years, the future Circus Ring of Fame inductee grew up in the circus, achieving stardom as a daredevil with his single trapeze "heel catch," and the "Wheel of Death," as well as his "Meteorcycle," "Mechanical Monster," and his memorable performance as the "Human Space Shuttle."
Despite a serious injury, his courageous and inspirational comeback led him to become one of America’s top circus executives.
This program was hosted by Circus Historical Society vice president Chris Berry.
