The Circus Historical Society celebrated Women's History Month on Sunday March 27th with a Circus History Live! program that featured circus legend . . . Dolly Jacobs! A recording of this program is available on the CHS YouTube Channel.
Known as the “Queen of the Air,” Dolly Jacobs is a world-renowned circus aerialist and co-founder of The Circus Arts Conservatory.
The daughter of legendary clown Lou Jacobs and renowned model and circus artist Jean Rockwell Jacobs, Dolly began her circus career with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. She has performed extensively around the world, including twice at the International Circus Festival of Monte Carlo, where she received the Dame du Cirque (Lady of the Circus) award and the coveted Silver Clown award.

All Circus History Live! sessions are free. They are open to both members and non-members. Registration is required.
